This unique team set up allows the post holder to develop skills within palliative care across Acute, Community and Day Hospice settings.
This well-established specialist palliative care team will impart their experience and knowledge to support this new post holder.
You must be a registered Occupational Therapist with core skills, developed experience and clinical knowledge around palliative symptom control and end of life care.
You will have access to structured clinical supervision as professional development is a high priority along with the expectation that you will supervise and support colleagues, junior staff and students.
You must be a car owner/driver and be able to organize and prioritise your caseload and implement patient plans of care independently.
The successful candidate will be an effective communicator with broad clinical experience, who is able to demonstrate personal and emotional resilience, the ability to adapt to changing pressures, a caring approach and a commitment to delivering the best possible quality care.
