The role of the Assistant Site Manager is to be responsible to the Site Manager for the on-site management and delivery of specified works to time and budget, in a safe and effective manner. They will liaise with QS, H&S, ISO, technical, and other managers within the company to ensure project delivery.

Role Responsibilities:
* Assist with management of specified works and workforce to meet productivity levels, deadlines, and budgets.
* Assist with managing the delivery of works to programme and communicate requirements to the workforce, supporting them in producing their sections of the programme.
* Coordinate labour and material requirements across site teams to ensure efficient use of resources.
* Liaise with project managers, QS, and buying departments to ensure timely ordering and sequencing of materials. Monitor site requirements and documentation.
* Build and maintain relationships with key client staff, stakeholders, funders, and third parties.
* Take full ownership of all aspects of works management within your remit.
* Understand scope and manage resources to deliver works on time and within budget.
* Maintain relevant information for producing, maintaining, and controlling work delivery, and communicate as required.
* Ensure quality standards, programme, and contract requirements are communicated and maintained.
* Keep accurate records of all aspects of the works, ensuring compliance with legislation, regulations, and policies.
* Work with project management and commercial teams to manage subcontractors, orders, budgets, and costs.
* Coordinate with Health & Safety to ensure delivery of safety plans, risk assessments, and related documentation.
* Collaborate with ISO and Quality departments to ensure service and product delivery standards.
* Work with resident liaison and customer service teams to resolve residents’ issues.
* Monitor workforce performance through objectives and action plans.
* Address contractor and subcontractor issues appropriately.
* Attend site and management meetings regularly.
* Stay updated with industry regulations, H&S legislation, and company policies.
Skills & Qualifications:
* Technical qualification such as ONC or equivalent in a construction-related discipline.
* Experience in cladding/facades.
* Completion or ongoing pursuit of relevant NVQ in construction.
* CSCS card.
* SSTS certification is beneficial.
* QCQA certification is mandatory.
* EWI experience is advantageous.
* Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
* Knowledge of industry regulations and H&S legislation.
* Willingness to undertake necessary training.
* Driving license and access to own vehicle are beneficial.
