Suffolk County Council Address: Landmark House, Ipswich IP1 5PB - Hybrid Salary: £34,434 per annum (pro rata for part time) Hours: 37 hours per week, flexible working options available Contract: Fixed Term or Secondment to support the backlog of cases, ending once the work is complete (6 months). Your role and responsibilities Engage with customers to assess risk and understand their views on how interventions should be progressed. Gather and analyse information from partner agencies, review records, and collaborate with professionals to support effective multi-agency decision-making. Contribute to and attend strategy meetings, identifying additional interventions where appropriate. Respond to calls on the Professional Consultation Line, providing advice and guidance to professionals on referral pathways. You will need Knowledge of adult social care, including safeguarding practice, and an understanding of the Care Act. Ability to work in an organised, efficient and responsive way, managing competing priorities. Confidence in using case management systems, ensuring accurate and timely recording. Strong communication skills, with the ability to adapt your approach to a wide range of audiences.
