An exciting opportunity has now arisen within the Beverley & Holderness Agency.
About the role:
As Compliance & Claims Manager, you will be a member of the Agency management team, working closely with the partners and colleagues to continuously improve performance, processes and outcomes for both customers and the business.
Your key responsibilities will include:
* Managing and overseeing Agency compliance, ensuring adherence to NFU Mutual policies, procedures and regulatory requirements
* Managing day to day workload allocation for the Service Team
* Acting as the main point of contact for compliance matters, audits and quality assurance
* Supporting the training and development of Agency staff, including induction, ongoing competence and regulatory training
* Overseeing claims handling processes, supporting the team and liaising with NFU Mutual and Clients to ensure claims are progressed efficiently and professionally
* Playing a key role in reviewing, improving and implementing Agency processes, driving efficiency, consistency and best practice
* Supporting the implementation of Agency strategy, working with direct support and guidance from NFU Mutual business partners
* Identifying risks, implementing improvements and promoting a strong compliance culture across the Agency
* Producing management information, reports and maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory standards
About you
We are looking for a proactive, organised and confident individual with a strong understanding of compliance and a passion for supporting both customers and colleagues.
You must have:
* Previous responsibility for overseeing and improving complex processes
* Experience dealing with compliance requirements
You will ideally have:
* Experience in financial services or insurance
* A good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements
* Strong organisational and communication skills
* The ability to train, support and influence others
* A continuous improvement mindset, with experience of process review and change implementation
Confidence working independently while collaborating as part of a management team
