* An understanding of specific learning needs and styles to differentiate support to pupils
* The ability to use Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook, and provide support to students in using these tools.
* The ability to plan effectively to enable multi-tasking
* A desire to help all pupils succeed
* Compassion towards the needs of the pupils.
* The ability to exchange verbal information clearly and sensitively with children and adults
* The ability to work with a range of colleagues
