About the Role
This is a part-time role of 20 hours per week. As a Commis Chef, you will work under the guidance of the Chef de Partie to assist with the preparation and production of dishes within your assigned section. You’ll maintain high standards of hygiene, follow all food safety regulations, and help ensure smooth kitchen operations.

What You’ll Do

Prepare and produce food for your section to the highest standards.

Complete tasks assigned by the Chef de Partie or Sous Chef efficiently and accurately.
*
Maintain clear communication with senior kitchen staff.
*
Handle food safely and follow all hygiene and safety regulations.
*
Support the wider kitchen team as required to meet guest expectations and operational needs.
*
Assist with additional tasks as assigned by management.

What We’re Looking For
Experience:

Previous experience in a similar kitchen environment is preferred but not essential.
Skills & Attributes:

Strong verbal, written, and listening communication skills

Proactive, reliable, and able to use your initiative

Creative and keen to learn

Comfortable working independently and as part of a team
Education:

Good level of English is essential
