The Role – English Teacher (Temporary Cover)
We are looking for an English teacher to deliver high-quality lessons to secondary students from January to July 2026. Key details:
* Position Type: Temporary cover role
* Start Date: January 2026
* End Date: July 2026
* Working Pattern: 4–5 days per week, depending on your availability and the school’s timetable needs
* Subject: English (Key Stage 3 and/or 4)
* Responsibilities:
o Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive and well‑structured English lessons
o Support student progress and wellbeing in line with the school’s Cornerstones: Respect, Commitment, Responsibility, Achievement
o Promote a positive learning environment where every young person feels valued, supported and encouraged to achieve their potential
o Work collaboratively with other staff to maintain high academic and pastoral standards
