In this role, the History Teacher will deliver lessons that encourage critical thinking, source analysis, and a deep understanding of historical events. Main Responsibilities: Deliver well-planned history lessons in line with the curriculum. Foster analytical and independent thinking through discussion and research. Maintain high standards of behaviour and a positive classroom environment. Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback. Work collaboratively with colleagues to support school-wide goals. Requirements: The successful History Teacher will have: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised qualification. Previous experience teaching history in a school setting. Excellent classroom management and communication skills. Commitment to safeguarding and inclusive education.
