Our Irvine team are looking for compassionate and creative individuals with a positive attitude to join them as Support Practitioners. This is a full-time post consisting of 37.5 hours per week. This is for a brand new 1 to 1 service with a sleepover attached. You don't need experience in care to start your career with us; we recruit on values and transferable skills. We will provide training, including a fully funded SVQ.
However, due to the needs of the service we can only accept applications from female candidates with a driving licence and access to their own cars.
The Role
As a Support Practitioner, you will assist individuals living in their own homes with disabilities and/or additional support needs in all aspects of their daily lives, including support with medication and finances, housework, meal preparation, cooking and personal care. The people we support have a variety of hobbies which you will take an active interest in, from going out for a bite to eat or watching a movie to a gym session or group activity.

Shift Patterns
Our dedicated friendly team provide 24/7 support tailored to the needs of each individual. Depending on shift length you may support more than one individual, and travel is factored into your hours. Shifts include earlies, lates and sleepovers which start at 9am until 9am the following day and sleep between 11pm and 7am, with weekends and public holidays on a rotational basis. Occasional early starts or later finishes may be required depending on activities.
