Administrative & Property Executive – Edinburgh
Create Business Properties is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated graduate (or soon-to-be graduate) to take their first step into the world of property and facilities management. If you’re keen to learn, great with people, and ready to roll up your sleeves, this role gives you hands‑on experience across office operations, tenant support and property management.
You’ll be joining a friendly, supportive team who will train you in the core skills you need to build a long‑term career in the sector. No prior experience is required – just energy, curiosity and a willingness to get involved.
What You’ll Be Doing
This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same. You’ll learn how a busy business centre operates while contributing to our tenants’ day‑to‑day experience.
Office & Reception Support
* Be the first point of contact for visitors, tenants and contractors, providing a warm and professional welcome.
* Answer calls, manage incoming emails and organise outgoing mail.
* Keep the office tidy, organised and ready for business.
* Support the smooth running of daily operations including office supplies, meeting room set‑up, and general workplace tasks.
* Provide refreshments for meetings and assist with room bookings.
Property & Tenant Support
* Maintain accurate tenant records and learn the basics of compliance checks and building inspections.
* Assist with CCTV monitoring and access control.
* Support regular property inspections and help ensure high standards across the building.
* Coordinate maintenance requests and liaise with contractors and suppliers.
* Help manage tenant queries and communications, making sure issues are resolved efficiently.
* Contribute to updates on our tenant portal and support occasional events.
Systems & Administration
* Learn how our property management and other IT systems work.
* Help with general admin including filing, photocopying and data entry.
* Assist with processing financial information and gain an introduction to our financial systems.

About You

Essential
* Good general education (Highers / A Levels or equivalent) – including English and Maths
* Confident IT user
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
Desirable (Not Essential)
* Full UK driving licence
* Previous part‑time or voluntary work experience
* Interest in property, business administration or facilities management
The Details
* Salary: £26,227.50 per year (Real Living Wage)
* Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday–Friday (9am–5pm).
* Location: Castlebrae Business Centre, Peffer Place, Edinburgh EH16 4BB
* Holidays: 28 days per year plus public holidays
* Pension: 3% employer contribution
* Contract: Permanent
* Probation: 3 months
* Reports to: Property/Finance Manager
