We are seeking two Engineers to join our newly created Install team!
This role primarily involves completing pre-installation and on-site installation of our automated equipment to a high standard. After relevant training, you will also support the field resource team in the field periodically or during installation downtime.
The ideal candidate will be based in Milton Keynes or surrounding areas and will report to the Technical Installation Manager.
Key responsibilities include providing efficient repair services, effective communication with customers, peers, and management, completing technical and product training, and fulfilling administrative duties.
The role also involves:
* Achieving company KPIs such as first-time fix rate and mean time between failures
* Maintaining effective stock of parts
* Supporting installations
* Building and maintaining customer relationships
* Resolving on-site issues to minimize downtime
* Maintaining accurate records of all work
Training for new starters includes buddy training with experienced engineers, training at our Milton Keynes head office, and regional training conducted virtually by our Germany headquarters, enabling certification to work independently on certain instruments.
Candidate profile:
* HNC/HND or NVQ 3 with 3 years’ engineering experience
* Technical fault-finding skills
* Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic principles
* Full clean driving license
* Customer-focused with strong communication skills
* Flexible and willing to travel across the UK
We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including a company car and hybrid working. The working hours are 5 days over 7, with shifts such as Wed – Sun, 08:00 – 16:00, or Mon – Fri, 14:00 – 22:00.
