About the role
SEND Teaching Assistant – North Tyneside
£444.60 - £475 per week
Monday to Friday | 8:30 AM – 3:30 PM

Your Role as a SEND Teaching Assistant
As a SEND TA, you’ll play a key role in supporting pupils with additional learning needs. Working closely with teachers and support staff, you’ll help create an inclusive, engaging, and supportive environment. Your responsibilities will include supporting pupils with SEND on a 1:1 basis or in small groups, assisting with delivering personalised learning plans and interventions, encouraging communication, independence, and social skills development, creating a safe, structured, and positive learning atmosphere, and collaborating with staff and specialists to meet individual needs.
