We're a vibrant coffee shop café known for great coffee, good food, and a warm, welcoming atmosphere. We're looking for an enthusiastic and skilled Sous Chef to join our kitchen team on a part-time basis, with regular weekend shifts.

We're a fast-growing speciality coffee roastery, based in the Cotswold countryside, just outside of Cirencester. We work closely with our countrywide partners, predominantly independent coffee shops, restaurants, hotels, and food service groups to help them serve the highest quality coffee to their customers.
2024 was an exciting year for us, as we have taken on a new unit, doubling the size of our existing roastery, whilst significantly increasing the number of covers in our roastery coffee shop. We have also launched a new and exciting brunch offering.
About the Role:
As our Sous Chef, you'll support the Head Chef in preparing and serving our fresh, creative café menu. You'll help lead the kitchen team during busy weekend services, keep food standards consistently high, and ensure everything runs smoothly behind the scenes.
Responsibilities include:
* Assisting the Head Chef with food preparation and service
* Running the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence
* Maintaining cleanliness, organisation, and food safety standards
* Supporting with stock control and ordering when required
What we're looking for:
* Previous experience in a café, restaurant, or professional kitchen (Sous or Senior Chef de Partie level)
* Strong organisational skills and ability to work under pressure
* A passion for fresh, seasonal ingredients and creating simple, high-quality dishes
* Reliability and flexibility for weekend shifts
* A team player who enjoys being part of a friendly, customer-focused café environment
