Project Management (Construction) - Placement Year at Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Ltd., Goodwood, West Sussex, United Kingdom. 12 Month Placement (July 2026).
Rolls-Royce Motor Cars is part of the BMW Group. The site at Goodwood is a world-class automotive manufacturing facility, with a focus on Bespoke capacity and capabilities.
What to expect
As a student, you will have hands-on experience from day one, gaining practical insights into the corporate operations of a major automotive manufacturer. You will be part of the project management office and support key processes such as cost management, scheduling and reporting that are critical to project success.
Responsibilities
 * As part of the construction team, participate in the successful finalisation of the project.
 * Gain insights into building a highly integrated, modern car manufacturing site.
 * Lead specific longer-term projects as part of the overall programme.
 * Contribute to continuous improvement and development of documentation, policies, processes and project rules.
 * Support, coordinate and manage daily tasks including use of project software and creating management presentations.
 * Plan and coordinate project meetings, workshops, team events and site visits.
Qualifications and experience
 * Studying towards a 2:2 undergraduate degree — preferably in business administration, civil/mechanical engineering or related subject.
 * Strong relationship-building and excellent communication skills, plus teamwork.
 * Exceptional attention to detail with strong written and verbal communication.
 * Experienced user of Microsoft Office products, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
