Role and Responsibilities: As a Disability Assessor, you will be responsible for evaluating and assessing the impact of disabilities on individuals' daily lives. Your role will involve: Conducting face-to-face assessments in a professional and empathetic manner. Gathering comprehensive information from individuals, medical professionals, and relevant documentation. Analysing and interpreting medical evidence to make accurate and fair assessments. Preparing detailed and concise reports for review and decision-making. Contributing to the enhancement of assessment processes through your expertise and feedback. Requirements: At least 12 months of post-qualification experience in Nursing, Physiotherapy, Paramedic, or Occupational Therapy Active registration with NMC/HCPC with no restrictions on practice No prior Disability Assessor experience is necessary, as comprehensive training will be provided. Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with individuals and medical professionals. Excellent analytical abilities to evaluate complex medical information.
