Summary
Working as part of a newsroom team you will be responsible for delivering accurate, creative, and engaging output to our audience on TV, radio and digital platforms. You will collaborate and contribute with colleagues on all output across the department and take responsibility for stories and output assigned to you.
Responsibilities
1. You will originate, research, write, produce and present material using text, stills, audio and video as required.
2. You will be expected to cover stories and events, accurately and impartially, and put them into an appropriate context to meet the needs of the audience.
3. Write cues and scripts, use video, audio, stills and graphics to produce TV news, articles, features, engaging posts and interactive material for digital platforms.
4. Produce content for TV that may include: News stories, live coverage, sequences, interviews, packages, discussions, background pieces, analysis and features.
5. You will need to be able to move a story forward, by amending and updating material as required.
