We are looking for an experienced Aircraft Component Inspector to join a busy aerospace workshop environment. This is a hands-on role involving the inspection of aircraft components, identifying defects, and determining appropriate repair actions.
Key Responsibilities
* Inspect aircraft components for wear, damage, and serviceability
* Use precision measuring tools such as micrometers and callipers
* Follow manufacturer manuals (e.g. OEM/CMM) to assess component condition
* Record inspection findings and part details accurately in SAP
* Create and update repair routes based on inspection results
* Work closely with engineering and production teams to meet deadlines
* Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and housekeeping
Requirements
* Previous experience in aerospace, aviation, or a similar mechanical inspection environment
* Strong understanding of inspection techniques and measuring equipment
* Ability to read and follow technical manuals
* Experience using SAP or similar systems is an advantage
* Good attention to detail and ability to work to tight deadlines
* Flexible and team-oriented approach
Working Hours
* Alternating shifts:
* Early Week: 6:00am – 2:00pm
* Late Shift: 1:55pm – 9:55pm
