2. Monday to Friday working hours, 45 hours per week, with some flexibility required - 07:00 – 16:30.

Duties:
11. Lead and motivate the VMU team to deliver outstanding customer service and operational efficiency
12. Manage workforce planning to meet customer fleet demands and optimise workshop productivity
13. Control labour costs, including management of third-party service providers
14. Ensure compliance with safety standards and safety audits
15. Plan and oversee facility and equipment maintenance, including workshops, diagnostic tools, and bays
16. Prepare budgets, investment plans, and monitor workshop performance metrics
17. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance workshop efficiency and profitability
18. Recruit, induct, and develop staff to maintain a high-quality, motivated team
19. Review and adjust pricing strategies for workshop services to remain competitive
20. Maintain high standards of health and safety within the department
Requirements for this Commercial Vehicle Maintnenance Unit (VMU) Manager role:
21. Proven experience as a Service Manager or Commercial Service Manager within the automotive industry
22. Strong leadership and team management skills
23. Excellent communication and organisational abilities
24. Resilient attitude with the ability to adapt to changing priorities
25. Ability to effectively manage budgets, costs, and workshop KPIs
26. Passion for delivering excellent customer service and technical excellence
