Registration and Opportunities
We are seeking secondary student teachers NOW to register and be ready to work in the Ormskirk and Skelmersdale area from September 2024. Registering with Tradewind offers exposure to diverse settings and roles, helping you grow your teaching skills while working towards your Induction, whether on supply or long-term positions.
Can You Complete Your Induction on Supply?
Yes! You can complete your Induction by working full terms in different schools. Securing a long-term position for a full academic year can also count towards your Induction. Note that only placements of one full term will count, and you need to complete the equivalent of two full academic years.
CPD for ECTs
Our CPD courses are designed to develop essential skills for ECTs, including:
* Interview Techniques
* Lesson Planning in line with OFSTED
* Effective Questioning
* Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) and Safeguarding
