PSM Recruitment are working with our client based in the Dover area to recruit a Transport Administrator to join their busy team. As a Transport Administrator, you’ll be responsible for monitoring vehicle movements, tracking collections against the transport plan, and ensuring all activity meets delivery cut-off times. You’ll be the key link between the drivers, suppliers, customers and internal teams – keeping everyone informed and ensuring any delays are quickly escalated and resolved. Job Type: Full-time, Permanent Shift Pattern: 4 on / 4 off, 12-hour day shifts, 8.00 am - 8.00 pm Transport Administrator - Key Responsibilities: Track all fleet and subcontractor vehicles to ensure timely collections and deliveries Communicate with RDCs, farms, depots, and suppliers to minimise vehicle waiting times Monitor PM collections and notify relevant parties of any delays Complete daily KPI sheets, detailing any late loads and the reasons Report delays and issues promptly to the Day Runner and Operations Supervisor Provide detailed handovers for late loads and tightly planned routes Support with driver communications, including outbound text updates Transport Administrator - What We’re Looking For Previous experience in a transport/logistics environment (desirable) Strong organisational and communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting Confident using tracking systems and Microsoft Office This is a fantastic opportunity to join a successful and professional organisation offering stability and long-term growth.
