About the Role: Assist and deputise for the Area Head across all operational activities. Lead the effective planning and delivery of Higher Education (HE) programmes in Engineering (Levels 4-6). Manage the delivery of Professional Construction programmes from Level 3 to Level 6. Drive continuous improvement in curriculum quality, student experience, and success rates. Inspire staff and students with a passion for innovation and excellence. Essential Requirements: Level 6 qualification in either Engineering or Professional Construction related subjects Minimum of Level 2 qualification in English and Mathematics GCSE 4 or C and above / CSE Level 1 / O-Level C or above / Level 2 Adult Numeracy or Literacy or equivalent. Teaching qualification - minimum of Level 5 (e.g. Certificate in Education/PGCE or equivalent). Essential Experience: Extensive knowledge and experience of current practices and innovations within the Engineering or Professional Construction sectors Good knowledge and experience in current practices and innovations within Higher Education Proven evidence of effectively leading teams, or the passion, desire, and abilities to transition from a teaching role into a leadership role.
