Project Management Degree Apprentice - Lead Innovation Through Project Excellence with Amazon

Do you enjoy working collaboratively to solve complex challenges and deliver meaningful change? Are you ready to lead innovative projects that make a real impact across one of the world’s most dynamic organisations?

Join us as a Project Management Degree Apprentice and gain the skills, experience, and confidence to deliver projects that shape the future of Amazon.

As a Project Management Apprentice, you’ll develop a broad and adaptable skillset – mastering stakeholder engagement, governance, financial control, and risk management. You’ll play a key role in delivering projects that improve processes, enhance customer experience, and drive innovation across Amazon's diverse business lines. Throughout the programme, you’ll use recognised quality management frameworks and project methodologies to bring ideas to life, all while earning your BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management.

What You’ll Do

You’ll gain experience working on real projects that have tangible business impact. You’ll collaborate with cross‑functional teams, lead planning sessions, and support initiatives that make a difference to Amazon’s customers and employees. Your work will involve coordinating resources, managing risks, and using data‑driven insights to track performance and deliver successful outcomes.

How You’ll Learn and Develop

Through a blend of on‑the‑job learning and structured study, including dedicated learning time, you will work towards a BSc (Hons) Degree in Project Management over a 42‑month programme starting September 2026.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and support projects to achieve defined objectives, timelines, and budgets.
* Coordinate with cross‑functional teams to ensure project alignment with business priorities.
* Identify and mitigate risks, applying structured problem‑solving techniques.
* Use data and metrics to monitor project progress and report outcomes to stakeholders.
* Build relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
* Present project updates using dashboards and reports to communicate impact.
* Apply analytical thinking to evaluate and improve processes.
* Support strategic planning and contribute ideas that drive positive change.

Who We’re Looking For

We welcome individuals from all backgrounds who bring curiosity, adaptability, and a passion for learning. You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy solving problems, managing multiple priorities, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders, have strong organisational and analytical skills, can think strategically while managing day‑to‑day details, and are adaptable and open to learning new tools, systems, and ways of working. Previous project management experience is not required.

Basic Qualifications

* Be 18 years or older before the start date (September 2026).
* Have the right to live and work in England for the entire duration of the programme until September 2030.
* Have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years and be a resident of the UK for the entire duration of the programme.
* Not be registered on another government‑funded course ending August 2026 or later.
* Hold at least 5 GCSEs at grade 4 (C) or above, including Maths and English.
* Have 3 A Levels or equivalent qualifications at grade C or above.
* This is a 42‑month fixed‑term contract; you must not already have a qualification in a similar subject at the same or higher level.

Preferred Qualifications

* Curiosity and eagerness to learn about how projects are planned, executed, and delivered.
* Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with diverse teams.
* Organisation and time‑management skills.
* Analytical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
* Attention to detail.
* Adaptability and comfort working in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
* Team‑player attitude and proactive mindset.
* Resilience and positivity when faced with challenges.
* Tech awareness and confidence using digital tools such as Excel, Teams, or project tracking software.

Additional Information

You’ll spend 80 % of your time working in your business area and 20 % on dedicated learning, which may include travel to a training centre depending on your provider’s location.
