Job Title: Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist
Location: Orchards Manor School – Norfolk, PE34 3HT
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Contract: Permanent, Term Time only. There may be scope for this role to be a full-time contract (52 weeks). Please get in touch to discuss your preference.

We’re looking for an experienced, Sensory Integration trained, Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist to join our expanding team. You will contribute to bespoke assessment and intervention plans for the children we support, holding responsibility within specialist services.
About the role
Are you an experienced Sensory Integration trained, Highly Specialist Occupational Therapist excited to work during times of transformative change? Do you have experience or a keen interest in working with neurodiversity (Autism, ADHD), complex and developmental trauma, and complex needs? If so, we have the role for you!
The post holder will develop OT-specific therapeutic services, delivering Ayres Sensory Integration, addressing varying levels of functioning, many with autism diagnoses and associated needs such as trauma and complex conditions requiring systemic and formulation-based approaches.
You will be part of multidisciplinary teams across three schools, meeting the needs of children with specific Section F provision in their EHCPs for Ayres Sensory Integration. Our teams include Speech and Language Therapists, Psychotherapists, Occupational Therapists, and other professionals. A holistic and integrated approach to care, education, and clinical services is ideal for this role.

Criteria:
* Relevant Occupational Therapy qualification
* Registered with HCPC and RCSLT or RCOT
* Awareness of Sensory Integration or Sensory regulation approaches
* Experience working with children and/or adults with intellectual disabilities, autism, or additional needs (e.g., trauma, mental health, behaviors of concern)
* Ability to work collaboratively with key partners
* Ability to work sensitively and resolve conflicts effectively
* Full valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle
