The Lodge Manager will report into the Domestic Bursar and will be responsible for the management of the daily operations of the College Lodge, including line management of the Porters, provision of a professional front-of-house service, preparation of the Porters’ shift rota, fault and incident reporting, site security and access and a wide range of other tasks.
The successful candidate will have exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, an impeccable work record and experience of delivering high-quality customer service. He or she will be well organised and flexible, with the ability to work calmly under pressure. Some out-of-hours working will be required.
The post holder will have previously managed a team and be able to demonstrate their exceptional managerial skills.
The post is a full-time appointment. Salary will be between £42,000 - 46,000 p.a., depending on experience.
