Freelance Site Manager Sector: Civils / Infrastructure / Energy Start October Duration: 10 months Location: Selby I am recruiting for a seasoned Freelance Site Manager to lead site operations on a complex Anaerobic Digester (AD) project near Selby, starting this October. This is a major civils-led scheme involving significant RC and earthworks components, ideal for a civils-focused manager. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: • Oversee daily site activities ensuring health, safety, quality and programme targets are met. • Manage multiple civils packages including: o Large reinforced concrete tanks o Silage clamps & industrial slabs o Steel frame erection (HD bolts) o Drainage, ducting, tarmac, and external works o Bulk earthworks and muck shift • Interface with the Project Manager, client, and engineering teams. • Manage site logistics, materials, permits and progress reporting. REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: • Proven track record as a Site Manager on civils/infrastructure projects. • Experience with RC structures, steel frames, and industrial civils. • Strong working knowledge of health & safety regulations and site coordination. • Ability to read and interpret drawings, manage multiple trades, and maintain progress SMSTS, CSCS (Black or White Card), and First Aid – essential. • Previous experience on energy from waste, agri-infrastructure, or biogas/AD projects – advantageous.
