Selling Park Manager Holgates Holiday Parks are located on the Lancashire/ Cumbria border between Carnforth and Milnthorpe and provide an idyllic location whilst still being close to major transport links, as well as the towns and cities of Lancaster, Kendal and the Lake District. Who are we looking for? We’re looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic Park Manager who will take day to day responsibility of the park and holiday home sales. You will set and maintain high standards, leading small team of Grounds, Maintenance and Warden staff, managing the holiday accommodation, facilities and grounds and all holiday home sales. You will be hands on and lead by example to make sure all holiday home owners and guests receive a 5-star service. This is a live in position, with accommodation provided on park. What hours will I work: 40 hours each week, to include evenings, weekends and school holidays Location: N orth Lanashire/South Cumbria Rate: Negotiable dependent on experience. Who will you report to? Managing Director Main Responsibilities Managing day to day aspects of holiday homes sales, supported by the company sales team. Welcoming guests and owners and being the hub of the park. Managing a small team of staff, leading by example, and dealing with HR issues, assisted by the People Manager Ensuring all holiday accommodation is cleaned to a high standard in time for the next guest arrival. Managing the grounds maintenance of the park to ensure that it is presented to the highest standards at all times. Ensuring that all deckings, walls and patios are completed to a high standard before handover of new holiday homes, and all maintenance requirements are dealt with promptly and to a high standard. Effective communication with Head Office to establish time scales for holiday home handovers, after sales issues, housekeeping where required and other administrative issues. Managing external contractors such as service engineers and 3rd party contactors. Making sure all processes are followed for bookings, guest and contractor communication and health and safety management in liaison with the Health and Safety Co-ordinator. Qualifications / Experience: Essential Management experience, ideally in a leisure or F&B environment A full UK driving licence Customer service experience Good level of literacy and numeracy Adaptability, flexibility and attention to detail Desirable Previous experience of holiday park management is desirable Previous experience of holiday home sales What are the Benefits?
