You will play a key role in building the culture of our new team.**About the role**You will ensure the readiness and functionality of Defence Training Areas.Your key responsibilities will include:* Coordinating contractor tasks for TAR (e.g. land care, cleaning, waste, estate upkeep).* Planning, deploying, testing and recovering live fire targets with Defence Units.* Managing TAR gates/flags per approved firing schedules.* Building and repairing targets using Defence supplies.* Conducting non-technical inspections and supporting contractor technical checks.* Maintaining TAR readiness (e.g. weed control, facility upkeep).* Operating DART, MTR, SMR & new target systems.* Managing inventory, stock control & storage.**About you**Our ideal candidate will have:* Experience in planning, placing, testing and recovering range live fire target equipment.* Ability to operate and maintain various target systems such as DART, MTR, and SMR.* Experience in inventory control, stock management, and storage maintenance.* Range Officer Accreditation or relevant safety training would be highly regarded.You must be an Australian Citizen and able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance.**How to apply**Please submit your interest with the apply button where you will be directed to create a profile on our system.
