My client, a fast-growing UK residential property investment and lending business, is looking to hire an Off-Market Residential Acquisitions Manager. Overview of role: The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and originating off-market residential property opportunities, building strong market relationships, and maintaining a consistent pipeline of high-quality acquisitions. This is a key growth role, acting as the company’s representative in the property market. Key Responsibilities: • Identify and source off-market residential acquisition opportunities, including single units, blocks, and portfolios. • Build and maintain strong relationships with estate agents, commercial agents, receivers, insolvency practitioners, administrators, surveyors, auctioneers, family offices, and direct property owners. • Develop a consistent pipeline of motivated sellers, distressed situations, company sales, and underperforming or mispriced assets. • Evaluate opportunities quickly against commercial criteria (pricing, location, uplift potential, risk) and present recommendations to internal stakeholders. • Monitor market trends, distressed sales, probate opportunities, and receivership pipelines to maintain a competitive advantage. • Represent the company externally, attending industry events and establishing the business as the go-to buyer for fast, discreet transactions. Requirements: • Proven experience in residential property acquisitions, ideally with off-market deal sourcing. • Established network of contacts in estate agencies, insolvency, receivership, and property ownership. • Strong commercial awareness and the ability to assess deals quickly and accurately. • Excellent relationship-building, negotiation, and communication skills. • Highly proactive, self-motivated, and results-driven. • Familiarity with UK residential property markets and investment strategies. • Ability to work independently and manage multiple transactions effectively.
