An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced and passionate Head Chef to lead the kitchen of a busy, quality-driven city-centre venue in Belfast.
We are looking for a strong kitchen leader who can bring creativity, consistency, and energy to a well-established operation with a strong food offering and excellent reputation. This role would suit a Head Chef who is hands-on, commercially aware, and confident in leading from the front.
The Role:
You will take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of the kitchen, ensuring high standards across food quality, presentation, hygiene, and team performance. You will play a key role in menu development, stock control, GP management, and maintaining a positive kitchen culture.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead and manage all kitchen operations
* Maintain consistently high food standards
* Develop fresh, appealing menus in line with the venue’s style
* Manage stock, ordering, and supplier relationships
* Control kitchen labour and food costs effectively
* Ensure full compliance with food safety and hygiene standards

Requirements
* The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
o Previous experience as a Head Chef
o A stable background in quality-led, high-volume kitchens
o Strong leadership and team management skills
o Good financial understanding, including GP and stock control
o A calm, organised approach under pressure
