Chef De Partie - fixed term contract £29,000-£32,000 Year-round employment Responsibilities * Manage food standards and quality across all stages of food preparation, cooking and service, ensuring our high company standards are consistently met * Manage the smooth running of your section before, during and after service * Have a complete understanding of all menus within your area of responsibility, ensuring that all recipes are followed accurately, portion control is adhered to and that presentation. * Work alongside the Head Chef and team to create and develop daily specials, presenting ideas for new dishes on a regular basis, along with recipes and specification for each dish * Assist in the training and development of junior chefs * Ensure stock rotation carried out correctly and wastage recorded * Adhere to HACCP/COSHH standards * Maintain high levels of CLEANLILNESS at all times. * Participate in any training and personnel exercises designed to improve standards and performance * Wear clean, suitable uniform at all times and ensure a high level of personal hygiene & grooming * Observe all requirements under Health & Safety regulations Requirements year experience and service in a busy restaurant * Excellent attention to detail * Excellent coordination skills * Ability to work well as part of a team * Must be available to work at weekends, and Bank Holidays 40 -45 hours ...
