Hours: Full Time, 7am7pm (3 shifts one week, 4 the next incl. alternate weekends)

About the Care Home The home is based in a peaceful village close to Market Harborough and supports up to 43 residents. It offers a warm, family-feel environment, blending modern facilities with a homely setting. Staff wellbeing, training, and development are core priorities.
Your Responsibilities as a Senior Care Assistant: Deliver high-quality personal, emotional, and dementia care
Promote independence, dignity, choice, and wellbeing
Lead and support your care team during day shifts
Complete daily medication rounds safely and accurately
Maintain high standards of documentation and daily records
Assist with care planning and resident handovers
Support staff training, one-to-ones, and team development
Uphold and promote best practice, escalating concerns when needed
Essential Requirements: NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or Registered Nurse qualification)
Minimum 2 years experience as a Senior Care Assistant in a residential/nursing home
Experience with person-centred care planning
Confident leading a team
Strong communication and organisational skills
Understanding of safeguarding and preventing abuse
Must live within 30 minutes of the care home
Preferred Requirements: NVQ Level 4 in Adult Health & Social Care
Dementia care experience (1+ year)
Experience conducting one-to-one staff meetings
Knowledge of National Care Standards Act 2000
