We are proud to be working in partnership with a well-established shipping company in Felixstowe who are looking to welcome an enthusiastic and proactive Accounts Assistant to join their friendly and collaborative finance team.
Key Responsibilities:
* Daily management of the account’s inbox.
* Accurate processing of supplier invoices relating to jobs.
* Investigating and resolving invoice discrepancies.
* Setting up new supplier accounts.
* Sales and purchase ledger.
* Handling manual fast payment documentation.
* Assisting with processing overhead invoices.
* Allocating payments to supplier invoices.
* Performing supplier statement reconciliations.
* Supporting month-end processes.
Skills & Experience Required:
* Experience in day-to-day accounts processing, including purchase and sales ledger.
* Proficient with accounting software (preferably Sage 200) and Microsoft Excel.
* Organised and methodical, with strong attention to detail.
* Team-oriented, with good communication and time management skills.
