Overview
Imaging Assistants are an integral part of the Radiology Team providing a high standard of patient‑centered care to deliver and maintain a good patient experience.
Location
The Breast Imaging department at New Cross Hospital – a purpose‑built unit completed in 2003 with excellent facilities for patients and staff.
Responsibilities
* Provide support to patients undergoing tests and radiology examinations, assisting consultants and radiographers.
* Perform admin and clerical duties related to the department.
Qualifications
* GCSE (or equivalent) in four subjects, including English Language and Mathematics.
* Experience in a caring/clerical post.
* Committed to providing quality care.
* Highly motivated and eager to be part of a dedicated team.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and strong patient focus.
Working Hours
09:00 – 17:00, Monday to Friday. Weekend working may be required when necessary.
