Reed HR have partnered with a fantastic company in Kent who are seeking a dedicated Health, Safety and Wellbeing Adviser to provide competent health and safety advice and ensure compliance with health and safety requirements. This role involves supporting and delivering special projects and campaigns to enhance health and safety within the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
1. Provide health and safety advice to assigned departments, ensuring active involvement in Health & Safety meetings and campaigns.
2. Assist in completing Risk Assessments and Method Statements (RAMS) reviews, work task briefings, and the delivery of toolbox talks.
3. Deliver health and safety special projects as arising from committees, data analysis, or strategic initiatives.
4. Prepare processes and procedures to meet ISO45001 standards.
5. Support and deliver health and safety improvements across various topics and assist the team as needed.
6. Support the investigation of incidents, ensuring root causes are identified and preventive actions are implemented.
7. Maintain a rolling program of workplace inspections and audits to promote safe working practices.
