Job Summary
Sewell Wallis is recruiting a Financial Analyst for a 6‑month fixed‑term contract to address a backlog of intercompany and balance sheet reconciliations for a global professional services business based in Leeds, West Yorkshire.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and understand a backlog of historic intercompany transactions to ensure accurate reconciliation.
* Perform balance sheet reconciliations.
* Business partner with project leaders, directors and group finance.
* Utilise Excel to manipulate large data sets and create digestible, actionable information.
Skills and Qualifications
* Experienced finance professional with years of experience.
* Evidence of success in a similar role.
* Analytical mindset with ability to make sense of large data sets.
* Strong communication skills for liaising with project leaders and company directors.
* Excellent Excel skills – VLOOKUPs, SUMIFS, etc.
