Recruitment Overview
We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated individual to work within the existing team on the MSK rotation in York Teaching Hospital. Rotations include MSK Outpatients, Rheumatology, Pain Management and Orthopaedic Inpatients.
Clinical Areas of Work to include: MSK, chronic pain management and rheumatology, outpatient orthopaedics, inpatient orthopaedics.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the high standard of care provided for our patients and support student and peer education.
* Support and contribute to the Orthopaedic weekend service.
* Undertake specialist physiotherapy assessment and management of a designated group of patients within the musculoskeletal and orthopaedic specialty.
* Provide support, specialist advice and training to junior members of staff and students; act as a resource within the department and Trust.
* Be responsible for a defined area of service working independently; clinical work is evaluated in line with Trust and service objectives.
Qualifications
* Relevant clinical experience.
* Excellent communication and organisational skills.
