Rate: £13.69 per hour (PAYE)
Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:45am – 5:00pm
Type: Full-time, Office-based (No remote or hybrid working)

We are currently seeking experienced Revenues and Benefits Advisors to join a busy, front-facing team supporting customers across the Borough of Sandwell. This is a full-time temporary position requiring immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide face-to-face, telephone, and electronic advice and support regarding Housing Benefit and Council Tax
* Signpost customers to self-service digital and telephone options where appropriate
* Ensure enquiries are resolved efficiently and effectively at the first point of contact
* Assist with applications for discounts, exemptions, and payment plans
* Maintain accurate records and process updates using NEC/IWorld systems
Essential Criteria:
* Experience working within a Revenues and Benefits environment
* Strong working knowledge of NEC/IWorld system
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work in a busy customer service environment and handle enquiries with professionalism and empathy
* Proficiency in using MS Office tools
Training on Sandwell’s Council Tax Reduction Scheme will be provided.
