Job Title: Veterinary Cleaner and Support Assistant (FTC)
Salary: FTE £26,437 pro rata to £23,132 per annum
Location: Peak Vets
Job Type: Part-time, Fixed Term GIVE/>
Hours: 35 hours per week – Monday to Friday (7 hours per day)
We are looking for a reliable and detail‑oriented Cleaner to join our friendly veterinary practice. You will ww play a key role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and safe environment for our clients, patients, and staff.
Key Responsibilities итә>
* Cleaning and sanitising clinical and non‑clinical areas, including consult rooms
* Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting
* Cleaning waiting areas, staff areas, kitchens, toilets and pharmacy.
* Emptying bins and disposing of waste safely
* Using cleaning products and equipment in line with Health & Safety and COSHH guidelines
* Maintaining high standards of hygiene and infection control
* Reporting maintenance issues to management
* Completing required Health & Safety training (fire safety, manual handling)
* Some light lifting required
* Stock management of cleaning supplies and daily consumables
* Providing ad hoc reception cover when required
About You
* Previous cleaning experience essential (clinical setting desirable)
* Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
* Good attention to detail
* Comfortable working around animals
