Learning Support Assistant - What the Role Involves Supporting teaching and learning across the classroom, ensuring pupils remain engaged and motivated Delivering small group interventions to help close learning gaps and boost progress Providing 1:1 support for children with additional needs, such as ASD, ADHD or SEMH Assisting with classroom management and promoting positive behaviour strategies Helping to create a safe, inclusive and stimulating learning environment for all pupils
Learning Support Assistant - What the School is Looking For The ideal candidate will hold a 2:1 or 1st Class degree from a top 30 UK University, and previous child-centred experience will be highly valued. Schools are seeking individuals who are proactive, compassionate and resilient, with excellent communication skills and a genuine desire to support childrens learning and development. Please note, applicants must have the legal right to work in the UK, as we are unable to offer visa sponsorship for this position.
Learning Support Assistant - Salary and Contract Info £444 per week, pro rata to term time only Contract: Full-time, long-term (SeptemberJuly), term-time only Potential for future teacher training or extended contracts following a successful placement
