Job Title: Fullstack Developer - Java
Location: Bournemouth, UK (5 days in a week from office)
Job type: 12 Months contract
Responsibilities
* As a Full Stack Engineer, be responsible for developing and/or engineering the end-to-end features of a system, from user experience to backend code.
* Use development skills to deliver innovative solutions that help clients improve the services they provide.
* Leverage new technologies with a cloud-first and agile mindset to solve challenging business problems.
* Act as a subject matter expert, collaborate and manage the team to perform effectively.
* Be responsible for team decisions, engage with multiple teams, and contribute to key decisions while providing solutions for the immediate team and across multiple teams.
* Demonstrate advanced proficiency in Java; intermediate proficiency in Behaviour-Driven Development (BDD) is recommended.
* Demonstrate intermediate proficiency in Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Terraform, and Oracle Database (suggested).
* Design and implement scalable and efficient software solutions that meet client needs.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
* Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency.
* Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge with team members.
* Mentor junior developers and contribute to a culture of learning and improvement within the team.
Qualifications
* Advanced proficiency in Java is required.
* Intermediate proficiency in Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) is recommended.
* Intermediate proficiency in Kubernetes, Spring Boot, Terraform, and Oracle Database is suggested.
