Teaching Personnel are seeking a dedicated and experienced Level 3 Primary Teaching Assistant to support a range of friendly, inclusive primary schools across Doncaster. This is an excellent opportunity for someone passionate about supporting children’s learning and helping them thrive both academically and emotionally.
The Role
As a Level 3 Teaching Assistant, you will:
* Support teaching and learning across EYFS, KS1 or KS2, depending on your strengths
* Deliver small-group interventions in phonics, reading, writing, and maths
* Provide 1:1 support for pupils with additional/individual needs
* Assist with lesson preparation, classroom organisation, and behaviour management
* Build strong, supportive relationships with pupils, staff, and families
* Help create a safe, nurturing, and engaging classroom environment
What We’re Looking For
* Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent)
* Experience working within primary schools
* Strong understanding of child development and learning support strategies
* Confidence supporting early literacy, numeracy, and phonics
* A proactive, caring, and positive attitude
* Strong teamwork, communication, and behaviour management skills
