We are searching for a friendly, professional and well organised person to join our reception team at The Falmouth Hotel. The desired candidate will be a confident communicator and a great problem solver. Daily tasks include, but are not limited to, greeting guests, ensuring a smooth check-in/check-out process and handling telephone and email enquiries. This is a full time position. 38 - 40 hours per week, working 5 over 7 days a week including evenings, weekends and bank holidays. Responsibilities Greet and welcome visitors in a warm and professional manner. Answer incoming calls with excellent phone etiquette, directing calls to the appropriate personnel. Manage the reception area, maintaining a tidy and welcoming environment. Provide administrative support to various departments as needed. Respond to emails and other correspondence promptly. Requirements Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail. Positive attitude and a commitment to providing outstanding service in every interaction Experience of using a hotel PMS system such as Mews. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude and the ability to develop good working relationships with staff members. Flexibility to work varied shifts, including mornings, evenings and weekends Previous experience in a hospitality or customer service role preferred.
