Job Title: Sales Order Processor

Location: Bathgate (office-based)

Salary: Competitive

Start Date: ASAP

Hours: Mon to Thurs 8:30-5pm and Fri 8:30-3pm


About Our Client

We are working with a fantastic client that has opened up a rare opportunity to join their highly successful team. They are looking for an experienced, personable, professional, and tenacious sales order processor to join their busy and enthusiastic team in Bathgate. The company focuses on providing excellent customer care through various channels to maintain their positive reputation and drive their business forward. As a key team member, you will process and coordinate all orders from online sales channels, act as the first point of contact for suppliers and customers, and resolve issues throughout the supply chain. To be considered, you must have substantial administration experience, be skilled at inputting and processing large volumes of data accurately, and have a passion for customer service.


Job Roles and Responsibilities

1. Provide exceptional end-to-end customer care via live chat, email, and phone throughout all customer journey stages.
2. Process a high volume of online sales orders efficiently and accurately across multiple supply chains.
3. Maintain the customer database (Salesforce & Microsoft Dynamics) accurately.
4. Manage credit card transactions and other payment methods related to customer orders.
5. Liaise with suppliers, customers, and internal teams to ensure smooth daily operations.
6. Escalate complaints to relevant parties when necessary.


Key Skills and Qualities

To succeed in this role, you should have:

1. Relevant experience in a customer support or sales support role.
2. Experience processing orders within specified timeframes.
3. Previous administrative experience.
4. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
5. Experience with CRM/ERP systems.
6. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
7. A flexible, enthusiastic approach focused on service and delivery.
8. High accuracy in data gathering and inputting.
