Job Description
3. Draft and negotiate corporate contracts
4. Manage corporate transactions - including M&A, corporate governance, data protection, non-disclosure agreements
5. Continuously improve and develop clients contractual templates and processes and provide training to the wider business.
6. Coordinate with local counsel in various markets in relation to local laws and compliance, including in relation to the incorporation and set-up of subsidiary offices.
7. Interpret laws and ensure it meets UK and international legal and regulatory requirements.
8. Provide advice concerning business transactions with customers, financial institutions, shareholders, directors, officers and others.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Corporate Counsel should have:
9. A minimum of 3 years PQE within a corporate practice at a law firm or in-house.
10. Excellent understanding and working knowledge of the fundamentals of company law.
11. Excellent judgement preferably with experience of advising senior management teams and/or other senior stakeholders.
12. Strong negotiating skills and sound commercial judgement, and able to balance with legal considerations
13. Strong presentation skills with experience of providing legal training .
