Role Overview
As Marketing Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the marketing function across a variety of tasks. You'll work closely with our Marketing Manager, agency partners, and internal teams to help execute campaigns, create content, and keep everything running smoothly.
Key Responsibilities
* Support Campaign Execution: Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns, including scheduling, tracking progress, and reporting on performance.
* Content Creation & Editing: Help draft and edit marketing materials such as blog posts, social media content, newsletters, and press releases.
* Design Briefing & Coordination: Liaise with external designers and agencies to ensure creative assets are delivered on time and meet brand standards.
* Social Media Management: Schedule posts, monitor engagement, and contribute ideas for growing our online presence.
* Market Research: Conduct research to support strategic decisions, including competitor analysis and audience insights.
* Event & PR Support: Assist with planning and logistics for events, PR opportunities, and promotional activities.
* Administrative Support: Help with day-to-day marketing admin tasks, including maintaining content calendars, updating databases, and organising files.
What We're Looking For
A motivated self-starter with 1–2 years of marketing experience (or relevant internship/placement).
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Creative mindset with an eye for detail.
Comfortable using tools like Canva, Mailchimp, and social media platforms.
Organised and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
Willingness to learn and grow within a fast-paced startup environment.
Able to work 2–3 days/week from our East Croydon office.
