Be a part of a team:
This is an amazing opportunity for aSenior Accounts Officer to join our Finance department.
What will your responsibilities be?
* Process accounting transactions of the Company, i.e. invoices andexpenses, and perform monthly reconciliation of accounting records
* Payment of Invoices for corporate expenses and communication withbanks for related matters
* Assist the Finance Manager concerning the company budget andquarterly forecasts
* Provide financial information concerning the company and the vesselsfor management decision-making
* Issue and submit invoices to clients according to the contractualagreements and monitor their timely payment. Raise inter-company invoicesand reconcile the inter-company balance on a periodical basis
* Prepare and submit monthly financial management reports
* Overview activities outsourced to the back office to ensure thatthey are timely and accurately performed
* Coordinate with external consultants for Office Payroll and relatedmatters
* Assist in the execution of internal and external audits and provide therequired information and data
Requirements
Education and Qualifications:
* University degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalentprofessional qualification (ACA or ACCA)
Work Experience:
* 3-5 years of relevant work experience, ideally in CorporateAccounting and/or Ship Management
Job-Specific Skills:
* Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
* Familiar with latest corporation tax and VAT requirements
* Ability to analyse financial data and prepare financial reports,statements and projections.
* Good analytical and conceptual thinking
* Good interpersonal and communication skills
* Knowledge of the local/regional maritime market conditions
* Very good people management skills
* Fluency in English
