Job Title: Transport Team Manager Location: Hatfield Pay Rate: £15.33 p/h Shifts: Sunday to Thursday (13:45 to 22:15) Ignition Driver Recruitment are looking for a reliable, experienced Transport Team Manager tojoin our team and play a vital role in keeping the supply chain moving. This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join our clients Home Delivery Network and as an experienced leader, your experience, drive and determination will be utilised well within this challenging and rewarding role. To be considered for this role, you will be an experiencedTransport Manager with a strong focus on customer service. You must have previous experience in a high-volume transport and warehouse environment. What You'll Do: Proactively manage and motivate the team to ensure best performance Support with employee development Encourage a culture of excellence Investigate and manage any performance, conduct or capability issues Contribute to the training and development of yourself and the delivery teams Manage and develop accident reduction innitiatives Manage role related KPI's Work closely with the Warehouse and Planning teams Work on an ever changing Transport plan to ensure the smooth running of daily deliveries Champion Health & Safety across the site What You Need: Previous experience working within Transport, Warehousing and Logistics ispreferred You will have demonstrable shift manager/team leader experience You will need to have PC skills and be able to use Microsoft Office as well as industry related software (Kronos, Oracle etc) You must be a UK resident to be considered for this opportunity.
