Field Service Engineer – UPS & Battery Systems
Field & Offshore | 1,920 Hours Annually | Technical Field Role
Salary, Benefits & Hours
* £57,000 + generous call‑out bonuses + offshore allowance
* Annualised: 1,920 hours / 194 working days
* Offshore trips of varying lengths
* Travel, overnights and short‑notice assignments required
* Full PPE, tools, training and development provided
Role Overview
* Maintenance, commissioning and testing of UPS and industrial battery systems
* Conductance, resistance and discharge testing
* UPS fault calls, diagnostics and breakdown response
* Report writing, asset assessments and replacement recommendations
* Supervising trainee engineers as required
* Significant travel and overnights included
What We’re Looking For
* Strong UPS experience – must hit the ground running
* HNC/equivalent or approved electrician
* Offshore or marine experience advantageous
* Understanding of BS7671 desirable
* Reliable, professional, and able to work independently
* Good communication and team‑player mindset
Work Location
Field‑based across onshore sites and offshore installations, with travel managed around operational requirements.
