Quality Control Technician (x3)
Location: Norwich £13.73 – £14.79 per hour 37.5 hours per week | Monday–Friday
Working Hours
* Monday to Thursday: 07:45 – 16:30
* Friday: 07:45 – 12:15 (early finish)
* 30-minute unpaid lunch break
About the Role
We are currently recruiting for 3 Quality Control Technicians to join a well-established and highly respected engineering manufacturer.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing quality team, ensuring all components and products meet strict engineering and customer standards within a high-quality manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct inspection of purchased, in-house, and assembled components
* Carry out incoming, in-process, and final inspections
* Perform dimensional and investigative checks
* Use and (where applicable) program Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM)
* Complete and maintain accurate inspection reports and quality documentation
* Calibrate measuring equipment (micrometres, verniers, pressure gauges, etc.)
* Maintain calibration records and support standards room control
* Work collaboratively with production to resolve quality issues
* Ensure all work is completed in line with health & safety procedures
What We’re Looking For
Essential:
* Experience in a Quality Control / Inspection role
* Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
* Experience using precision measuring equipment
* Knowledge of calibration processes
* Previous experience within a manufacturing environment
* Good IT skills (Microsoft Office, etc.)
* BTEC Level 3 (or equivalent) in Engineering
Desirable:
* CMM experience (at least 1 hire ideally at a stronger level – salary can be discussed depending on experience)
* Experience with quality databases or reporting systems
