Rushden Vets4Pets is looking for an enthusiastic newly qualified Veterinary Surgeon to join our friendly team. Applicants should be confident with basic surgical and medical cases. The practice has a growing, as well as long established loyal client base and a varied caseload of dogs, cats, rabbits and small furries. At the ready are: Digital X-ray, ultrasound, tonopen and in-house Idexx lab machines. We are an accredited training practice for student veterinary nurses as well as the RCVS VetGDP new graduate program. Your role will consist of: • Full time hours - 40 hours per week with no weekend hours • 20-minute consults • No out of hours or on call responsibility You will be joining a happy and passionate team with interests including animal behaviour, wellness, orthopaedics and small furries. Our team enjoys bowling, bingo and easy going walks for local charities. Cinema, shopping and water sports are across from our clinic at the largest new outdoor shopping entertainment complex in the midlandsRetail therapy on your lunch break! The team consists of 2 full time vets, 2 RVNs, 1 student nurse, 1 veterinary care assistant and 3 receptionists.
